Blogitive Requirements Clarified!

Blogitive Ad Posting Made Clearer!

If you have been making a steady income with Blogitive, then you may have experienced several instances where your blog ad posting was rejected for one reason or another.

This did not mean that you weren't given instructions on how to correct the error(s) in order to be paid, but all corrections had to be corrected in a timely fassion. As you know, there is that 48 hour deadline for each submission.

At any rate, Blogitive was kind enough to share the more common mistakes that come across their review desk and so here I am sharing them with you in the event you hadn't noticed:

1) The word isn't linked exactly the way it was provided.
2) The web release should never just be copied and pasted into your Blog. Unique content must be written about the release.
3) For people with multiple Blogs, you need to write something unique on all your Blogs. Don't just copy the same text to each Blog.
4) There can be only one link to each client's website in each Blog post. Only post the link provided in the offer.

So keep this information in mind when you post your next Blogitive Ads. This may help you get your $5 an ad more quickly and easily.

I'll be back in a moment, but here's our commercial for you from Dr. Philip Miller.com:

More and more, cosmetic surgery is becoming the thing to do, not just for those desiring to look young, but for every age group for one reason or another. Dr. Philip Miller.com is made for those interested in cosmetic surgery.

If you are in the research stage of your cosmetic surgery plan, his latest web release encourages you to look at his website where he is well known for his New York City cosmetic surgery practices.

His website offers a variety of information on all types of cosmetic surgery procedures from facelifts to rhinoplasty to breast augmentation and more.

Clickbank Affiliates! Did you know....?

Important Facts about Clickbank!

I have been seriously looking into Clickbank as an affiliate program and, in fact, have been an advertiser for their products since March of this year.

There are two very important items on their Terms that you should know if you wish to advertise for clickbank and get paid for doing it. This is what stands out to me and although I wrote about this before, I hope you all didn't miss it, so I'm writing about it again.

Here are those items directly from their website:

Clickbank Paychecks:
Payment preference.
In your account you may select an amount from $10 to $10000 as your payment preference. The default setting is $100. We hold your check until your payable balance reaches this amount. A $2.50 accounting fee is deducted from each check we issue. To change your payment preference simply login to your account, click the link to "access your account", click the link to "modify your account", select the desired amount from the drop down menu, and click the "save changes" button.

Customer distribution requirement.
ClickBank accounts cannot be used for the sole purpose of collecting rebates, or otherwise extending credit to yourself or others. To ensure compliance with US law, ClickBank will withhold payment of any account balance until it contains standing sales made with 5 or more different credit card numbers, including at least one Visa card, and one MasterCard. PayPal and eCheck purchases do not count toward the minimum.
So, if you didn't know this, now you know. I have sold a few products, but the amounts due to me will be held in my account until I get at least five different sales with five different credit cards. Did you notice that this does not include purchases made with Paypal or eCheck.

This site is not for the beginner affiliate unless either you are a really good sales person or the products you are selling are super important for at least five different people to want enough to buy them.

I'd like to know your experience with Clickbank. Will you please leave your comment in the comment section below? Thank You!

Now here's a word from Dr. Pistone.com's latest web release:

Hair loss is a problem common to many many of you out there and I'm sure you've tried lots of different solutions. Have you tried hair loss restoration?

Dr. Pistone is known in many U.S. locations, including Connecticut, Philidelphia, New Jersey and is even known for Staten Island hair restoration. He has over 6,000 procedures under his belt. Take a look at his website for more information on how he can help you with your hair loss.

Is PPC Advertising better than SEO?

PPC Vs. SEO!

A few days ago, I thought I'd get down to the nitty gritty and make a decision about Pay Per Click (PPC) Advertising. I asked myself a few questions so that I'd be able to make an educated decision on whether to just continue making sure my website (or blog) was search engine optimized or would it be better to bite the bullet and go with PPC Advertising.

This is what I found out about PPC vs. SEO. For one, doing both can actually be a good thing if you're just starting out and you are trying to get more website traffic right away. In fact, it is suggested by many website traffic gurus.

On the other hand what happens when you run out of money for Pay Per Click Advertising or you notice your traffic is good, but it is not converting? What happens if your site is not search engine optimized?

You must know now that search engine optimization will bring you traffic for FREE. Of course, there is time involved in doing this, but once your site has been optimized, you'll only have to spend time tweaking it to please the market you're trying to attract. Apart from that, it's done and you can take this to the bank. You will get traffic this way.

It may not come as quickly, but it will be steady no matter if you run out of money for advertising or not. Search engines will allow "searchers" to find you.

So, PPC or SEO? Again, I'd do both in the beginning. See where your PPC Advertising is taking you. Are you getting what you want out of it? If not, try a different strategy. If you are, then keep at it. I will stress this, just from personal experience though. Don't neglect SEO (Search Engine Optimization)!

I'll talk more later about what I learned was the best way to get the most out of Pay Per Click Advertising next.

And now a word from our Sponsor:

Pay Per Click Advertising - Research Unfolds!

Pay Per Click - To Do or Not to Do - That is the Question!

Before I spend money willy nilly, I try my best (for the most part) to do thorough research of the subject, in this case, Pay Per Click Advertising. These are my questions:

1. Is PPC Advertising better than SEO?
2. Is it recommended as a buffer while SEO is being worked out?
3. Which company should I use - Google or Yahoo or Both?
4. What is recommended in terms of other Search Engines and their PPC programs?

O.K. So these are the questions and I'll go into detail about each as I find the answers.

If you have further questions you'd like me to research, please leave a comment below. I look forward to hearing from you!

Pay Per Click - Who Do You Use?

Pay Per Click Click Click!

Which company or companies are you using for Pay Per Click advertising, also known as PPC Advertising?

I have heard of a few companies that I should use to start a Pay Per Click campaign for my Pedal Cars website, but I have yet to decide on which one I should go with. I guess I am over thinking this, huh.

Well, of course, I've heard the good, the bad and the ugly about PPC advertising and don't have lots of money to waste, so I am planning on going with Overture.com. I have heard that their program is better than Google Adwords. Google Adwords though seems to serve its members more quickly.

I hear it takes Overture advertisements three days to be approved while Google is pretty much the same day that you submit the advertisement.

Now again, there are several other companies out there that offer PPC advertising. So, I ask you. Which company are you using and how do you like the service?

Now for a commercial break from Search Illinois Homes.com about Aurora Real Estate:

Search Illinois Homes.com is encouraging folks to check out Aurora, Chicago. Here's a little bit of their latest web release: "The City of Aurora was founded in 1834 and in 1837 the village became a city when the Post Office was established. Aurora is also known as the “City of Lights” because it was the first city in the U.S. to use electric street lights. Aurora is located approximately 45 miles southwest of Chicago."

Would you live in the City of Lights?

Affiliate Marketing - What Has Worked for You?

What Affiliates are You Having Success With?

A few days back I said that I was going to go all out and really try to promote the programs and companies that I am affiliated with so that I can get in gear and earn a nice supplemental income with them. I know it can be done. I just haven't found the golden key to do it for myself.

Well, I am still working on this project among other projects and I wanted to see what you have been doing to make this work for you too. Another thought too. I have seen on many blogs "Commission Junction" links and it baffles me.

I read in Commission Junction's terms of service that blogs are not allowed in terms of promoting products and service for their companies. So I don't even pay attention to Commission Junction. How is it that some of you can use their affiliate company links? Do you have a special deal going with the specific companies whose products you promote so that you will be allowed to promote their links on a "blog" instead of an actual website?

I'm really curious. I can't wait to hear from you, so please feel free to comment using the "comment" link below.

Here's our commercial from BizJournals.com on credit cards:

"A credit card is a great way to enhance our daily lives. When used responsibly credit cards help consumers purchase goods and services, and to pay for them on an affordable budget and timeline."

Are you looking for a credit card? Have you thought of consulting your financial advisor before thinking about getting one? You should click on the link above to check out the rest of BizJournals latest web release.

Pay Per Click Advertising!

PPC Advertising - Does It Work For You?

I think I'm finally ready to try this internet marketing technique called "Pay Per Click Advertising." It's a little scarey, because I really want it to help with my conversion rate and not waste my money.

I don't have lots of money for advertising, but I hear that if you work this PPC monster right, you will really get some good returns. How has pay per click advertising worked for you? Seriously, let me know in the comment section below.

First and foremost, I hear that it's not as bad as I am anticipating. After doing some research, I also hear that the more keyword phrases you set up the better (upwords of 1000 keyword phrases is suggested). I think I'll start with one or two and see how that works for me.

I remember a movie called "What About Bob"(Bill Murray) where the idea was stressed that you should try not to be so overwhelmed that you scare yourself into doing nothing but be scared. Richard Dreyfuss (I don't remember his character name in the movie) encouraged Bob to worry only about putting one step in front of the other - "Baby Steps." Remember that?

Well, that's what I'm going to do. Are you with me?

Now for a commercial:

Are you shopping for automobile insurance? Is your policy expiring soon? If so, I read a web release today published by CarInsurance.com and this is some of what I read:

"We offer a convenient way to comparison shop for auto insurance. Shopping for car insurance is the only way to save money on car insurance. With CarInsurance.com it is easy to buy your auto insurance online, in some states you could complete the process and have your proof of insurance in 15 minutes!"

Remember! Research is the key to getting all your needs met!

Go To My Free Survey List Blog!

There are Lots of Ways To Make Money Online!

I have established a blog just for companies who offer to compensate persons who complete their surveys on products that may not have hit the market or new TV programs. There are survey companies that want to know your personal experiences from how you determine which products to purchase at a store to how you felt about being online.

The opportunities are endless and instead of paying for a list of companies who are looking for you so that they can pay you for this information, I have set up this Free Survey List blog so that you can get this information for FREE!

How did I get this information? Many of the companies I talk about are companies I have personally made money with, some are companies I am currently testing and others are companies I have heard work well through forums I am a member of.

Don't forget to check out the site that provides you with a FREE List of Survey Companies!

I do use this blog for commercial advertising, so here is a commercial from Glasgold Group's latest web release about New Jersey plastic surgery and their website:

If you are looking to alter your image Glasgold Group's website has this to say:

"Those who want to explore the different before–and-after photos can browse through the galleries, which are categorized by procedure. In connection with this, the testimonials of clients concerning their plastic surgery results also exhibit the quality of work Glasgold Group has been living up to since its conception. Another feature that deserves attention is the Q&A portion of the Glasgold website. Here, questions ranging from the most basic to the most technical are addressed personally by the Glasgold surgeons. Those who want to get basic background on plastic surgery in New Jersey are advised to browse through this section first. Glasgold Group also provides a portion to help patients know about the dos and don’ts after surgery. These tidbits are presented in the “Post-Surgical Concerns At A Glance” page."

My Website - QualityPedalCars.com

My New Website - Quality Pedal Cars!

I decided a few months ago to try and set up a new e-commerce website and boy did I really and truly not know what I was getting into. It's not as easy as I thought it was going to be.

I have learned a lot along the way though and thought I'd share with you a few things I have done to make my website a success.

First and foremost, I really worked on my meta tags so that search engines would like me. I brainstormed which keywords I thought I should highlight in the content of my site and therefore in the Keyword Meta tag.

You don't want words in your Keyword Meta Tag that are not also in your content or search engines will not like you. They may even ignore you in some cases and that is not good.

I also thoughtfully came up with keyword heavy titles for each of my pages.

Before I decided on which keywords and keyword phrases to use, I went to Overture's Keyword Tool (representative of 30% of all online search engine traffic). This helped me see which words were the most popular for the previous month and which were not popular enough, but which I may use to capitalize on anyway.

If for example, the keyword phrase "pedal car" showed an interest of over 6,000 searches for the previous month, I can tell myself that in fact over 18,000 people wanted to know about that keyword phrase (30% for Overture, a Yahoo Product and another 60-70% for the other search engines like Google and MSN).

I have to say that the site has been up for six weeks or so and I am averaging 20 to 30 unique hits a day and most of those hits are because of the keywords I selected. That Overture tool really works.

I have yet to sell a pedal car though, so this is not to say that I don't want at least 100 hits a day or more, but I'm moving on to my next step for this purpose - Pay Per Click Advertising. I'll let you know how it goes.

Now for some off topic advertising for Hair Transplant Manhattan and DrPistone.com:

I'm personally not familiar with hair transplant products, but if you are interested, Dr. Pistone's latest web release says, "The latest hair transplant technology and shorter recovery time and safer solutions for permanent healthy hair has benefited Dr. Pistone’s patients. It is always important for a patient to get as much information as possible in order to make an informed decision. Meeting the hair restoration is vital in establishing a ‘relationship’ since treatment for a hair transplant can often take months to reach completion."

Like with every health product or surgery, always do your research!

Affiliate Marketing.

Affiliate Marketing - Is it Working for You?

I don't know how you are doing with affiliate marketing, but I haven't had too much success. I think I make an amount equal to what it would cost to have a DSL set up at my home monthly. I guess that's o.k. considering some of you don't make more than that either, but what is the secret?

I keep hearing in many of the forums I'm in that others are really making a killing with affiliate marketing. I get lots of email telling me how to do it and what I can do to be more successful at it, but either I just don't have the time to pursue it more or what I'm doing just isn't right.

O.K. So what I've decided to do is to really get out there and market more products for the companies I'm affiliated with. I have several blogs to do this on. At least two or three of them are popular.

So how are you doing with affiliate marketing and what advice would you give me? I look forward to hearing from you!

Now for an Off topic Commercial about Healthcare Drugs like Seroquel:

I'm not a healthcare professional, but I was intrigued by Online.Epocrates.com's web release. They seem to have developed a very valuable informational website. This is some of what their web release said that they offer. "In addition to an extensive drug guide, the product includes formulary information for more than 130 health plans and hundreds of Medicare Part D formularies. Healthcare professionals can quickly and easily obtain formulary status, drug coverage and alternative and generic drug options for their patients’ health plans with Epocrates Online."

Networking - Another Awesome Internet Marketing Tool!

Blogging and Networking - A Good Mix!

Shelly Hill aka Ravish30 - Whamforums.com - really supplied Whamforum readers with a nice top ten for good networking and gave me permission to publish it here.

The more that I understand having your own business, whether it be blogging for cash or what have you, the more I find that networking is so important. So, just like anything you do, it is good to understand what "good" networking is so that you can use it as an internet marketing tool.

Here is her article for your reading pleasure takent from ClassyBusinessWomen.com:
Top Ten Tips for Good Networking

1. Networking is not about selling your business or products to
everyone you meet.

2. Don't come on too strong the first time you meet new people.

3. Share about yourself, not just your business. "People do business
with people they trust."

4. Ask people what they do and invite them to share about themselves
and their business.

5. Listen more than you talk and ask questions that will get people
talking — not just a yes or no answer.

6. Make mental notes on things people have that might be useful to
yourself or others, or if online make notes.

7. Find common ground with the person you're getting to know. "People
do business with people just like them."

8. If asked what you do don't give someone a long sales pitch. Keep
it short and informative. If they want to know more they will ask.

9. Always tell the person you where talking with it was a pleasure
meeting them and ask if it is ok if you add them to your contact
list.

10. Ask for their business card — that way you can be sure that there
will be follow up. You can exchange cards if you wish but always get
their card or if online, their email or IM name. Ask permission to
contact them again.
Now a word from our sponsor, Monex.com's, latest web release:

Ever thought about investing in gold american eagle coins? Monex.com says, "Since 1967, well over one hundred thousand investors have purchased billions of dollars of gold, silver, platinum and palladium bullion and bullion coins from Monex."

I don't know if I am ready for any investing, but what about you?

An article I just received by search engine guru, Brad Callen, goes into more detail about how to make your blog/website stand out for Yahoo and MSN. It is worth reading this article!
