PayPerPost in New York!

If you want to learn from a group of experts on how to market your blog, company, or even yourself, just watch what PayPerPost.com is doing!

Today I took some time out to watch the behind the scenes video of PayPerPost going live in New York as they stormed the Today Show. They call it "Guerilla Marketing," and it is true to form. Their tactics were strictly and most obviously used to get noticed. I mean, by 6:30 a.m. they had handed out all of their freebies. "The early bird gets the worm," my mom always said.

Do you see any other "get paid to blog" site doing that? Not I!

Talk about going the extra mile! They provided T-shirts of all sizes with the PayPerPost logo on them, PayPerPost signs and silly puddy, I think. :-) One thing is for sure, if they were not known before by the entire world, or at least the millions who watch the Today Show, not to mention those who got the freebies, then PayPerPost is definitely known now.

I don't know if the average internet marketer would go that far to get noticed, but I'd say that is marketing at it's best and I am certainly taking some lessons! One thing is certain, you can't be shy.

I'd be very interested to know how much business they generated off of this marketing stunt.

I'd love to hear from you. Comment Below or Email Me Using the Sidebar Link. Thank You. :-)

Google Sandbox - Making Internet Money.

Does the Google Sandbox Exist?

I figure that a blog about internet money wouldn't be worth much without at least a mention of the "Google Sandbox."

So, what do you think? Is there such an animal? I've been reading up on some intersting posts in a forum I frequent and find it interesting how many people believe that Google is just interested in content rich, quality websites. They say that a website, no matter how decked out in SEO it is, if it is a new site, it has to gain acceptance in the internet world. How is that accomplished?

Who know's the answer to that?

O.K. I'll give it to you. If you get a lot of back links to your site, the more the better, each equivalent to one vote that your site is worth being online, then Google will find your site "worthy" of recognition.

So, do we forget all the Google algorithm talk and sandbox talk?

What do you think?

I'd love to hear from you. Comment Below or Email Me Using the Sidebar Link. Thank You. :-)

How to Generate More Than 100k Listings on Google!

Hot New SEO Contest!

The title of this post is not meant to be misleading in any way since that is exactly what happened when an administrator of a popular forum, preCharge.net's Community Forum, started an SEO contest.

This preCharge ProjectNet contest started on August 19, 2006 and has generated over 100,000 listings on Google since then. Can you say, "WOW!" I would love to see that for my websites/blogs.

The contest is ongoing until December 19, 2006 with prize offerings worth up to $5K.

The whole premise of this contest is to build awareness of a focus that now exists in Washington, DC and countrywide, that of limiting the future of internet growth. Is this a challenge you are willing to take up and expose?

If you would like more information on this contest, visit preCharge Project Net.

I'd love to hear from you. Comment Below or Email Me Using the Sidebar Link. Thank You. :-)

Bidvertiser Review!

OK, so I've been signed up with Bidvertiser for almost two weeks now. Some of the things I like so far about Bidvertiser are that you can customize your ads the same way you can in Google to blend in with your background. You can also keep track of how many visitors came to your site and, of course, most importantly, you clicks.

I placed their ads on a blog that use to get a lot of traffic while I had Google Ads on there. The reason I changed from Google Ads to Bidvertiser Ads was because I found out that said blog was not in line with Google Adsense Terms.

Going back to the traffic part of what I was saying, lately, I have been so busy with other ventures, so I haven't been able to add to that blog too much or to even think of content for it, but I found a new resource of information that will help me with that. Believe me, when you stop updating your blog, your readers will quickly get bored and move on. What does that mean? No Readers! No Traffic! No Money!

Anyway, even though I haven't been getting many visitors, I still made a few cents with Bidvertiser. Someone actually clicked on an ad as I sing "Happy days are here again" - LOL!

Well that's it for now. Oh, just one more thing. You may notice as you become a Bidvertiser publisher that your ads are not necessarily contextual. The ads I have posted don't necessarily relate to my blog. I don't really have a problem with that personally since that particular blog focuses primarily on "free information" so it works for me.

Please share your experiences with Bidvertiser. I would love to read them.

Shameless Plug: By the way, my pedal car store is having a big sale on pedal cars, pedal planes and diecast model cars! We even have a variety of related car kid costumes featured. If you're looking for a unique toddler gift or car collector gift, this is the store for you! QualityPedalCars.com

AdvantageProcessors.com

For those of you who sell services or products online, you know how vital it is for a customer to have a means of paying you right then and there, while they are interested in what you are selling.

Many website owners fail to realize how important this is and often don't provide an immediate payment method like an online payment processor. Instead some website owners rely on customer service phone calls to drum up business and process credit card information over the phone. While this is good, it is blocking a whole lot of potential sales.

In fact, online, the more immediate the ability to purchase a product or service, the better. Why? Internet shoppers firstly, get bored very quickly and secondly, move on very quickly. You have to catch their attention within seconds and then get them through the purchase fairly quickly after that.

One of the best ways to do this is by having a shopping cart setup on your site and also a merchant account where processing credit cards and the like will be quick and easy. AdvantageProcessors.com would like to be that merchant for you. They process applications for low risk merchants and high risk related industries as well.

For more information on this company, please visit their website.

Of course, however you handle your online business is up to you, but remember that to close the sale online, the online gurus suggest having a way for your cutomers to process their payments immediately.

More on Google Analytics!

Google Analytics - What I didn't say in the other post.

Since I love the Google Analytics software so much, I thought I'd dedicate two different posts to it.

I wanted to mention that there is also a Google Analytics blog to keep up on how to use the software most efficiently. Google Analytics says that with this software you can get "actionable insight into your advertising and website design."

It "helps you find out what keywords attract your most desirable prospects, what advertising copy pulled the most responses, and what landing pages and content make the most money for you."

If you have an Adwords account, you do not want to miss the high value information you can gain by keeping track of your visitors with Google Analytics. You can keep track of "all online campaigns, from emails to keywords, regardless of search engine or referral source."

How do other high end companies rate Google Analytics? To see, check out their case studies page. You will find experiences from well known companies like Agency.com, BuildDirect, Deckers, The Financial Times, RE/MAX and more.

Oh, and I did mention the Google Analytics blog before. Here is the link: Analytics Blog. You will not only find hints and suggestions on how to get the most from Google Analytics, but a break down of important analytics terminology for the average person to understand.

I'd love to hear from you. Comment Below or Email Me Using the Sidebar Link. Thank You. :-)

How To Make Internet Money - Bachelor Degree Online

This blog is all about making money online, right?

Well getting an education means more money. A college degree is still extremely respected in the work force even for online jobs, so I came across a web release today that talked about how you can get a bachelor degree online.

It may not take a rocket scientist these days to discover the fact that online college courses are becoming the norm, but there are still many many people who don't take advantage of them, me included.

Do you want a bachelors degree in business, or what about information technology? If so, then Capella.edu is the website for you. Why? They are a national leader in online education with over 16,000 students in over 60 countries. Their web release says that they are "committed to providing high-caliber academic excellence and pursuing balanced business growth."

Sounds like that's right up my alley.

How To Make Internet Money - Arizona Real Estate Agent

With all of this internet money you are making, if you're not paying bills with it, maybe you are saving it to buy a home. Purchasing a home is still one of the best investments you can make in your lifetime.

Google Analytics is Awesome!

Google Analytics!

I have been using this on my blogs for about a month now and I love all of the information I can get from this visitor tracker system.

The best thing about it is that regardless of how sophisticated it truly is, it is absolutely FREE!

Why should you be impressed? Google Analytics lets you in on just about everything you want to know about your visitors. It tells you how they found you and even what keywords they used.

If you use Adwords, you can integrate it into your Adwords campaign too. It seems like such a high end software, and yet it is free and, not to mention, easy to use. You don't have to be using Adwords to make use of this site though. I don't. If I were you, I'd sign up and start using this software today!

There is no downloading. You just sign up and get started. The only requirement is that you place the tracking code (a little html) that they provide in your template and voila, they will start providing you feedback on your site within 24 hours.

It is a great helper for your SEO needs too, as it will help you find out what people are searching when they find your blog or website. Then you can use more of those keywords to focus on getting targeted website traffic. What more can you ask for from a free product. Cool right?

Here is some information directly from the Google Analytics website:
Learn how visitors interact with your website and identify the navigational bottlenecks that keep them from completing your conversion goals. Find out how profitable your keywords are across search engines and campaigns. Pinpoint where your best customers come from and which markets are most profitable to you. Google Analytics gives you this and more through easy-to-understand visually enhanced reports.

Available in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Portuguese, Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, and Russian, and seamlessly integrated with AdWords, Google Analytics provides the actionable information you need to improve your site content, optimize your ad campaigns, and boost your ROI.

Are you impressed yet?

Money and rateGenius.com!

This post isn't really about making internet money, but it is a post about money.

Have you thought about doing an Auto Refinance lately? A refinance is needed when one is looking to replace their current lender, get a better interest rate, extend the loan terms or even remove a co-applicant on their current loan.

RateGenius.com specializes in auto refinancing. I just visited their site and it is very user friendly and easy on the eyes. What do they charge to help you refinance your loan for whatever your reason?

Directly from their FAQ section, it says:
Q: Is there a charge to refinance my automobile?

A: rateGenius does not charge any application or loan fees. The only cost associated with refinancing your vehicle is a Title Transfer Fee that is paid to your state (varying from $5-$65) depending on the state you are in. Some lenders may also have a loan processing fee. All additional fees are typically added to the loan so there are no out-of-pocket expense to you.
How does that sound to you?

This is just another way to stretch your money or even save you money. Isn't that what you're looking for?

Google Adsense vs. BidVertiser - PayPerClick Earnings

As you may have read in a post I wrote yesterday, Google Adsense is one of those income streams that you can't count on to get you through week by week, especially since you have to wait until you have earned $100 before you can expect payment.

That is not to say that they don't make a few people a lot of money. In fact, they do. I don't think they would be so popular if everyone was making .02 a week. However, in my opinion and in observing others who publish Google Adsense on their blogs and websites, most people don't get too far very fast.

At the WAHM.com forum I frequent, one member said she heard the term "tip jar" when referring to Google Adsense and making money. I thought that was ultra appropriate. It was suggested that, in the long run, BidVertiser.com was a much more profitable PayPerClick company to be a publisher for.

I don't know too much about BidVertiser, but I'm going to find out. One thing I did notice right away when I signed up is that you don't have to earn $100 to be paid. Pay Out is $10 and you are paid to Paypal. That is definitely a plus. Let's see how well this goes.

Please give me your take on Google Adsense vs. BidVertiser if you use both or have experience with both. I'd love to hear from you.

PayPerPost Blog - Warm & Friendly.

Are you a Postie?

It is easy to tell that the bunch who put together PayPerPost.com are warm and friendly and a bit comical to boot. How do I know this? They have come up with a name for bloggers who work with them - "Posties." I found that out when I came across their blog while looking around my blogger dashboard, the place I go to get more blogging work from the many business owners who have chosen to advertise on blogs.

I've been visiting the PayPerPost blog for some time. Yes, yes, I know it's fairly new, but it doesn't take more than a few posts to tell what kind of person/people are contributing to the tone of the blog.

What I notice most is the community spirit. Visitors feel free to comment often and communication among members of PayPerPost is easy and free. Although now PayPerPost also has a forum, visiting their blog felt very forum like.

They also have chosen to feature PayPerPost bloggers which I find to be delightful. It's nice to get to know people who are in a similar situation as you, you know, people who actually like to make money blogging. I have taken time to visit the featured bloggers blogs and am always fascinated by the difference in personality blogger to blogger.

All in all, the PayPerPost blog is definitely one to visit. Take a look when you get the chance if you haven't already.

Google Adsense for Bloggers - What's Your Take?

Google Adsense - Is it a Dead Business Model for Bloggers?

I have been blogging for a little over six months now and from the beginning have used Google Adsense on my blogs. I have learned a few tricks of the trade in the process, from where to place my Google ads for a larger click percentage to a whole lot of "what not to dos."

In the short run, my experience hasn't been too bad, but to make money with Adsense while blogging is certainly taking the long way home. That is my personal experience. What about you? Have you learned that Google Adsense isn't for you, or have you developed the patience it takes to succeed at this money making strategy? How long has it taken you to get your first $100 check? I haven't made it to that point yet. I am almost there though.

If you are patiently waiting, what are you doing in the meantime? I have found it very profitable to work with companies like PayPerPost.com. I make money blogging everyday writing what I love to write, what I want to write.

With PayPerPost.com, I have earned a little under $50 for five assignments, spending around 15 - 20 minutes per assignment. What is that per hour? I wonder. You certainly make more in the short run and more than likely in the long wrong with PayPerPost.com and companies like this.

The only reason I haven't made more than $50 is because I have chosen not to. You can post up to three ads a day for companies that use PayPerPost.com. The range you make per ad and the amount of time you spend on the post differ from ad to ad, but you certainly make more than if you would just wait for someone to click on your Google Adsense.

On the other hand, with Google Adsense, you can make lots and lots if you can figure out the secrets which I haven't. I am involved in several forums where bloggers and webmasters alike are making thousands a day, if they are telling the truth. I know, that's a pretty skeptical statement. Well, I won't say they're lying. It just hasn't happened for me yet.

So, is Google Adsense dead as a business model for bloggers? I would never say that inasmuch as I see it as a great "potential" additional income stream for myself. I am on the internet day in and day out looking for ways to make money online. If that means I make a few cents a day here and there with one of those income streams (i.e. Google Adsense), well, it certainly is something.

What do you think?

How To Make Internet Money - Gold

Many investors would say that the money you make online, any money for that matter, can be and should be invested in gold or precious metals.

Why is this? Monex.com recently published a web release that talked about how Greeks, Romans, Egyptians and others, even in our modern times, all have been drawn to gold. And it's true, isn't it.

It's also ture that "today, the beauty of a gold bar lies in its proven ability to diversify investments, protect wealth and preserve one's purchasing power," says Monex.com.

So, do you have the power - the purchasing power? Want it? Visit Monex.com to find out how you can. If you are making a few extra bucks online that you are looking to invest and you hadn't thought of how to invest that money, think "gold."

Blogsvertise Email Regarding More Assignments

A few days ago I received a comment on one of my blogs related to Blogsvertise.com that said they had only received one offer since signing up and also that their first assignment (non-paid) had to be about Blogsvertise.com itself.

Well, regarding receiving very few assignments, I received an email from the company that may explain to some extent the lack of assignments. I'd like to share that email with you if you have not received one yourself as a member of Blogsvertise.com. Here it is:
I just wanted to let you know about a setting update for blogsvertise bloggers to increase your advertising task assignment rates. Some advertisers have expressed interest in blogsvertise, however they wanted to buy ads but at a lower pricing rate and have some more flexibility as far as pricing goes.

To make the service more attractive, flexible and affordable to a broader range of advertisers we've created a new setting called your Min. Payout Rate: This is a setting to set a minimum payout rate on your blog.

What you would be willing to accept as far as payment goes for your blogsvertise entries. You are not obligated to set a lower minimum payout rate, but we recommend you do so to attract more advertisers to order your blog.

To set your Minimum Payout Rate, Login and Click Here:

http://www.blogsvertise.com/blog_list.php

Select the Blog and then Click Edit.

You will still receive tasks at the standard payout rate, however by lowering your Minimum Payout Rate, you're likely to receive more tasks more frequently. For example if you set your Minimum Payout Rate to $5.00 then you will receive advertiser tasks in the $5-10 Payout Range. As usual with our service, you are not obligated to write about any specific advertiser task assigned to you.

Thank You,

Blogsvertise SUpport Team

www.blogsvertise.com
So, what are your thoughts on this email? Let's see if anything comes out of lowering the minimum payout rate. Are you going to lower your minimum payout rate?

I'd love to hear from you. Comment Below or Email Me Using the Sidebar Link. Thank You. :-)

PayPerPost.com Update.

Make Money Blogging!

If you have been reading my blog over the last few weeks, you may have noticed me mention PayPerPost.com as another addition to my multiple streams of income list.

In fact, I have now completed five ads (no, make that six) and am awaiting payment on my first which should happen in exactly 13 days. How do I know that? Well, each blogger's account is assigned their own dashboard, if you will. Once you sign in, you will see different tabs - one saying "blogger dashboard," another saying "open opportunities," the third saying "my blogs" and then finally, "my posts."

If you click on that last tab ("my posts"), you are given the ability to keep track of your posts, their approval status, the links to the blogs you wrote, the amount you were promised for payment and how many days until payment. This has been, by far, the most professional company in terms of blogging ads for companies!

On top of all of that though, did you know you can also make money ($5/person) for each person you refer to PayPerPost.com? On your blogger dashboard, somewhere down near the lower right hand corner, you will see a box about this along with a button that says, "refer a friend."

All you have to do is click on that button and a new screen will pop up asking you for your friend's name and email address. Put the information in and your "friend" will be automatically sent an email stating your love for blogging and what you have been doing to earn money while having fun at the same time. Your "friend" will be encouraged by you to sign up to PayPerPost.com if they are interested in earning money too.

That's it. Your friend signs up [most importantly, filling in your email address in the requested "referrer" field] and voila, they start posting and making money just like you. Once they complete their first post and it is approved, you are "hooked up." Again, your friend has to go through the whole process of signing up, posting and getting an approval on their first post. After that you will get paid your $5.

So, if you would like for me to be your referrer, submit a comment below and provide me with your name and email address and I will get an invitation sent right over to you. You can also feel free to click on the link on the sidebar that says "Email Me" and shoot me a message with your name and email address too. Either way will work.

That's it for now. Happy blogging. :-)

I'd love to hear from you. Comment Below or Email Me Using the Sidebar Link. Thank You. :-)

Blogsvertise.com - I got an offer!

In my last post about Blogsvertise.com, a company that pays for you to post blog ads, I told you I signed up to become a member. That was about two weeks ago. I signed up a few of my blogs and waited for approval. The approvals came within 24 to 48 hours.

After that, I waited and waited and finally, yesterday, I received my first request to blog an ad on one of my other blogs. Yippie!!!!

Anyway, the process was pretty simple. I followed the very simple instructions, which gave me a company's URL along with what to do with it. I was told I could blog a post about anything I wanted as long as the content was something I could relate to the assigned company.

That wasn't hard, because they gave me the assignment based on the content I had already been writing about. In that sense, it is quite different from Blogitive. I was also told that I had to place the link three different times in the same post. Finally, I was told to make sure the blog was at least two paragraphs long.

Sounds pretty easy, right! Don't forget to join this company and start blogging ads. Make Blogsvertise.com an addition to the multiple streams of income portfolio you are building.

I'd love to hear from you. Comment Below or Email Me Using the Sidebar Link. Thank You. :-)

Online Coupons - Ebates.com

As you have been reading this blog about how to make internet money, you may have come across many ways to do just that. What about ways on how to spend your money? Well, if you do your shopping online, don't forget your online coupons!

While looking around your favorite online stores like Target or Barnes & Nobles, even Circuit City of Office Depot, Ebates.com says in their latest web release that you can find a coupon for your intended purchases.

The one thing I like about this online shopping portal is that it is "Free!" So take a look around their site and see if you can find what you are looking for. Don't be surprised if you do since they boast about giving "consumers cash back whenever they shop online at more than 800 name-brand stores!

Happy shopping. :-)

OT: Court Ruling on a September 11th Issue.

Simmons Jannace & Stagg is a well known law firm that has participated in some very high profile cases. Most recently, they were involved in a case where they supported a widow whose husband was one of the 9-11 victims. After being sued by another attorney for legal fees to the tune of $2 million, she hired Simmons Jannace & Stagg.

According to their latest web release, they moved to dismiss the federal action with the argument that "the Victims Compensation Fund did not provide federal jurisdiction for an action by an attorney seeking to protect his fee."

The court sided in the widows favor and the web release stated that "as far as Simmons, Jannace & Stagg is aware, this is the first federal court decision holding that attorneys’ fee disputes arising out of the September 11th Victims Compensation Fund should be litigated in the state courts."

So this is just a side note on the happenings of one victim of the September 11th attacks. This is the end of the week of 9-11, five years later and I thought it would be good to talk about a positive outcome to a nasty situation.

Freelance Writing Jobs and the Internet - A Featured Article

Telecommuting Job Idea: Freelance Writing Jobs

By: Nell Taliercio

Freelance writing offers the opportunity to make money from home and gives a writer a chance to work on an almost endless variety of projects. A writer can either focus on an area of expertise, or write a greater variety of general knowledge articles. With the internet, there are many more freelance opportunities today than ever before, and the field is expanding daily.

Where to find Freelance Writing Jobs:

While magazines and newspapers are the more traditional route for freelance writers, the internet has provided a whole new arena for writers. There are internet magazines (sometimes called e-zines) and blogs (short for weblogs) on almost any topic available. While many do not pay writers, some are beginning to. Content sites are another source of writing jobs.

There are also freelance websites specifically designed to help bring together clients and writers. The writers can bid on jobs, and then the client will chose the writer who best suits their needs, both in talent and price. Some of the jobs will be creating new content, while others want people to rewrite existing articles, to make them fresh. Most of these bidding sites do charge fees of some sort. Some of the charge the client to post the job, while others charge the writers either to join, or a percentage of the total payment agreed upon for the job. The benefit of going through one of the sites where you bid on jobs, is that the money is held in escrow, so that writer is guaranteed payment upon successful completion of the project. The writer has to balance the convenience of someone helping find them work versus the expense of promoting themselves to potential clients.

Skills you need:

In addition to basic typing skills, you should have a creative streak that allows you to present information in a new, informative and entertaining way. You should have good grammar and spelling skills, as most of the freelance jobs require the product to be delivered with minimal errors. While experience is good, it is fairly easy to begin a freelance writing career by building gradually, possibly even writing a few articles for free to build a body of work to show potential clients as writing samples.

Tools you need:

As with most jobs that require typing, a reliable computer and internet connection is a must. You should have a word processing program that allows you to save to a variety of formats, as clients have different needs.

How much money can you make?

The payment for content articles can be anywhere from $3-20. Other projects pay by the word or by the page. The price varies greatly, based on the market in which you are sending your work. A traditional magazine will often pay more per article than an online content site.

Word Processing Jobs

Word processing jobs are a good source of income from home. Sometimes they are listed together with data entry jobs. Doing word processing would include a wide variety of tasks, from typing up newsletters to helping organize a research project. Some jobs might require transcribing a manuscript from a handwritten copy to a computer file, possibly even for use as an e-book.

Where to find Word Processing Jobs:

There are many job search sites that specialize in word processing jobs. Local colleges and universities are also a source of typing jobs, for busy students who don’t have the time to type out their papers.

Skills you need:

Good typing skills are a must. Many employers require anywhere from 60 – 70 wpm, or better. Accuracy is also crucial. You should be very familiar with programs like MS Word and Excel. There are sites that promise job training to improve your word processing skills, but good typing skills should be enough for most jobs. Many promise jobs with high pay, approach these with caution and do your research first. It would also be advisable to be familiar with PDF (Portable Document Format) file format, Adobe and how to create and edit pdf’s.

Tools you need:

A dependable computer is a must, and possibly a printer, in case you are required to turn in a hard copy of the documents being typed. A solid internet connection and software including Word, Publisher and Excel.

How much money can you make?

Some companies promise from $1000 - $4000 a week, but this is likely a sign of a scam or ‘typing for pay’ programs that you should avoid. Others offer $250+ per week or a per page wage. These are more likely to be real job offers. Many times freelance typists bid on work and the lowest bidder with the skills required gets the job. That can be a good place to start and gain experience but you’re not likely to make a very good wage that way.

Blogsvertise Update.

Blogsvertise and You.

If you are like me, you signed up at least two weeks ago or more to start posting ads for Blogsvertise.com on your blog. I hear the pay is very good, sometimes even more than $5 a blog post, at times as much as $10.

That's wonderful if you ask me, but I haven't managed to get any requests from their company. They are not like Blogitive in that you just sign into your account and check to see if there are any offers. They are not like PayPerPost in that you, again, sign into your account and pick from the offers listed. (Personally, I like PayPerPost's strategy, organization and professionalism for bloggers and advertisers the most by far!)

They are more like BuzzByBlog.com and Blogging Ads where you are sent a request via your email address on account, along with the requirements for the ad and the amount you will be paid.

If you have been paid by Blogsvertise or have been receiving requests to post ads, let me know what you think about Blogsvertise. Is it worth it? Do you like the pay? Have you been paid?

I am a member of one forum where other bloggers have stated that they have been getting requests, but they are far and few between. Others, like me, have not received any requests and have been signed up for a month or more.

I'm sure this will change eventually. Well, I would love to hear from you about this site. Please give me your input.

Thanks so much!

I'd love to hear from you. Comment Below or Email Me Using the Sidebar Link. Thank You. :-)

How To Make Internet Money - Commercial

If you haven't come up with what you would like to spend the money you are making online, I may have some ideas for you. Most people plan their end of the year vacations way ahead of time. Some of you are very adventurous and want to try something new.

TrendWestGetAways.com has the answer for you. What about purchasing one of their California Vacation Packages? Their web release says that you can get a great deal for as low as $79 depending on the destination you choose. There are so many places to choose from such as "Angel’s Camp California, Lake Tahoe, Reno Packages, San Francisco Vacations, Seaside Oregon, or California Wine Country."

Sounds good doesn't it? By no means is this list all they have to offer. Check them out.

Referring Advertisers for Pay.

Another Way to Earn Money On the Internet.

How are you doing getting paid for placing ads on your blog by companies like Blogitive, PayPerPost and the like? I can't complain myself, but there is always more internet money to make out there. In fact, BuzzByBlog.com not only allows bloggers to get paid to write ad copy, they now have added allowing you to earn by becoming an affiliate too.

Advertisers are promised accomodation for any size budget and the ability to work to meet the needs of the advertiser for a "perfect solution."

So, if you know people or companies who need what BuzzByBlog has to offer, and you have them mention you when they sign up (this is very important!), BuzzByBlog says that as an affiliate, you will receive 10% of their first order of $25 or more.

Here is how they put it on their affiliate page:
Now you can earn money for referring advertisers. If an advertiser mentions you, you receive 10% of their first order (on their first purchase of $25 worth of advertising or more). To take advantage, have them mention us in the "referred by" section, or use the "Refer a Friend" button below. Sorry, we do not pay for referring bloggers, although we appreciate your help in spreading the word.
Well, what do you think? Like I said, this is just one more way to make internet money. It's up to you. :-)

How To Make Internet Money - Commercial

With all of the internet money you will be making after following the posts on my blog (I'm no expert, but I am making more than when I started back in March), you can buy your fiance a Diamond engagement ring or if you aren't getting married, you could get your special someone something special! How about a Diamond?

Well, Primestyle.com's web release says that you never have to "pay retail prices again...period!" Just check out their website and see what they have to offer. Maybe you won't find the Hope Diamond, but you will find some great prices and customer testimonials to give you the confidence you need to shop for your diamond jewelry at Primestyle.com.

SEO is Essential to Your Internet Marketing Plan!

Search Engine Optimization and Your Internet Business!

Catering to search engines is essential to a balanced internet marketing plan. Why? Because that is where the people who you want to see your site are at.

Apogee Search describes SEO as "the process of placing keywords or keyword phrases in a website that result in high rankings on an Internet search engine." They then inform readers why this is so important. "It's important to understand that properly managed SEO won't just increase web traffic volume on your site. Instead, it will drive highly qualified visitors who are most likely to convert into sales."

Sounds good, right! I can attest to the fact that it is true using my own website, QualityPedalCars.com, as an example. Although it is a relatively new site, just four months old, I know that the traffic that comes to that site arrives mainly by being referred by search engines, especially MSN. Qualified Traffic, people actually wanting the products I sell, are finding my site because of the way I have optimized my site for search engines using keywords and keyword phrases along with other SEO techniques.

In fact, my next marketing step to draw more "qualified visitors" to my site is to look further into what Apogee Search, an SEO Austin, Texas firm, has to offer. There website is quite impressive in terms of the level of expertise they seem to have on the topic of search engine optimization.

Some of the results that they say you will see after using their services are as follows:
* Dramatic increases in qualified visitors to your site
* Increased conversions for more sales
* Accelerated ROI
* Stronger, longer-lasting customer relationships
* Improved sales in target markets
* Strong growth in market share
Their longer-term strategy of focussing on SEO instead of PPC Advertising is very appealing. I wonder how much it costs.

There Are Many Ways to Make Money on the Internet!

Making Internet Money.

Yesterday I wrote about Article Writing as a means for getting paid and even gave a hint that you could most likely get work doing freelance writing assignments for companies. Have you heard of Craigslist.com? I hear over and over again about work at home moms posting their qualifications on Craigslist, offering to become a virtual assistant and then waiting for an email or call back.

Guess what. They get the calls. The interest for flexible help is out there. You just have to advertise yourself, that's right, market yourself the way you market your blogs.

This type of work is becoming more and more common for work at home moms and many are making good money at it. I personally have not experienced making a full time income freelancing, but I do make $300-$400 a month this way. I also don't put in as much time as I should looking for freelance work.

When I first started freelance writing, blogging, completing paid surveys and other projects to supplement my families income, I began to think it was impossible to find a regular work at home job, but I have learned much about the internet within the span of a year and have found many ways to bring in money.

This post is meant to be an encouragement to you who are new to blogging and also those of you who have been persistant at it, but who haven't figured out the money end of blogging for money.

If I can do it, you can too. Just look around at the articles I've written since March to see some of the ways I am making money.

I wish you much success in all of your endeavors!

Article Writing - Are You Getting Paid?

Associated Content - Get Paid To Write!

If you blog, do you call yourself a freelance writer? Well I just decided the other day that, in fact, that is what I am. Now there are a lot of freelance writers out there getting paid good money for what they do, take journalists for example; what about people who write e-books, or advertising agencies who hire copy writers.

Well, bloggers also write lots of content. You can get paid for your content by not only working your posts in for companies like PayPerPost or Blogitive. You can submit your articles to Associated Content! They pay anywhere from $4-$20 per article depending on your writing skills, expertise, etc.

In fact, below is a special request from Associated Content for writers to submit a 600 word article on the "Top 10 Songs By..." It's really a request for your opinion on the musician, band, etc. and their top ten songs of all time. That's a fun topic, right!

It may be easy for you to come up with 600 words. In fact, you'd be surprised that once you get started, 600 words it's not really that much, maybe a page and a half typed. What do you think about getting paid $10 to give your opinion writing something you will most likely enjoy. You can actually submit five different "Top 10 Songs By..." articles. That's $50 for a little research and writing time.

So what are you waiting for? Here is the information on the request directly from Associated Content:

Top Songs Special

AC guarantees a minimum of $10 for your "Top Ten Songs By" articles through September 15, 2006.

Qualifications:

- Your headline/topic MUST be: Top Ten Songs by__ (Music Group or Singer)
- Articles need to be at least 600 words.
- Your content must be submitted exlcusively to AC
- Select the Arts & Entertainment: Music categorywhen submitting your content.
- When possible, attach a Media-Use image of the band/singer with your submission.

Paid Search Services!

Is Your Business Doing Well With Its Paid Search?

Today I read a very informative white paper article on how to "Avoid PPC Advertising Agency Malpractice".

The company that presents the article is named Apogee Search and after reading their FAQ section and the white paper article linked to above, I am convinced that they know how to run a successful paid search campaign.

I strongly recommend reading about the questions you should ask to your prospective paid search advertising agency. You will find suggested recommendations to questions on topics like:

1. Why you should start with Paid Search vs. Natural Search;
2. What should be the extent of Keyword Phrase Research; and
3. Why you should prefer Broad Match vs. Narrow Match.

If you are new to ppc advertising, you will find yourself better prepared to move forward after reading this information.

You can also sign up for a free Search Engine Marketing Analysis to determine how your site is performing in major search engines. I did and can't wait to see what they say.

Happy reading...

I received this question recently from one of my readers - "californiagirl" - regarding my opinion on NicheGeek.com/Adsense_Niches in terms of their forecasting, in a sense, the different niches one might be successful with if one knew what he/she was doing!

This was my response:

In actuality, I only recently started blogging back in March of this year for the very first time and have been researching information on the best way to make money with Adsense.

NicheGeek.com/Adsense_Niches seems to be right on target with all the other guru adsense people I have read about, come across in forums and so forth.

I do believe that finding the "right" niches can be very profitable. I can't tell you how many ebooks/books I've read about internet marketing and making money with Google Adsense and other online ventures like affiliate marketing, where it is stressed to find the right niche for "you."

You have to at least like what you are pushing, writing about, selling. People will feel it in your content if you're not truly interested and that is the kind of response you will get, either no response or little response.

It has also been suggested that whatever your niche is, to write quality content about it, with proper keyword placement throughout each article and also proper SEO. Do that and all else will fall into place, Google Adsense included.

One of the niches I am really getting into is pedal cars. This niche has been the most profitable for me to the point where I started my own e-commerce website selling them (www.qualitypedalcars.com).

In all honesty, Google Adsense is on the low end of the earnings scale with this particular niche, since I make most of my money in sales and affiliate marketing, but this has all been a learning experience for me and one where each day I know more and thus am more successful. The facts are simple in this case - "Don't put all of your eggs in one basket."

To become successful on the internet, I have come to understand that when you do find your "niche" you should do everything you can to become an expert on the topic (soak in all the knowledge you can about it so that you can share it with your readers).

This will get your readers to come back to your blog/website time and time again looking for your knowledge. They will suggest others read what you have to say (backlinks). The more that happens the better.

That is how everything will fall into place.

I hope that answered your question. I tend to be somewhat wordy (lol!), but I'm glad you asked that question. I will be copying and pasting this on my next post.

So...what do you think? Is NicheGeek right on the money? Please leave a comment before leaving.

Google Adsense Revenue Sharing.

Have you heard of TrendyFriendy.com?

Google Adsense revenue sharing sites are becoming more and more popular. I have read that they are especially helpful to bloggers who are new to making money with Google.

One such site is TrendyFriendy.com. This revenue sharing site like others proposes that users put their Google Adsense Account ID in their profile upon registration, then they start blogging.

How do you make money? The FAQ section says, "If you want to earn money, keep in mind that the rating depends on posts written exactly by you, which have been rated by other users. Your rating directly defines your participation in ad rotation on whole site."

So, the higher your rating or popularity, the higher your adsense share. Remember that 50% goes to TrendyFriendy.com and 50% goes to users.

Although earning 100% seems preferable, the popularity of sites like TrendyFriendy.com makes me think that they are doing something right. What do you think about Google Adsense revenue sharing sites?

A Listing of Blog Directories!

How Important are Blog Directories?

In talking about the marketing end of making money blogging, it is a necessity to let people know where to find your blog. Makes sense, right?

Well, one way to do that is to take the time out of your already busy schedule to post to as many blog directories as possible. Why is this helpful? Getting your blog(s) listed in blog directories opens your blog to the blogosphere so that it too knows you exist.

Not only will you be getting traffic from search engines (especially if you have been optimizing your site for them, practicing good SEO practices), but you will be getting traffic from these different directories. The practice of listing your blog in blog directories should not be underestimated. There are many ways to let people know your blog site exists and blog directories are made just for that purpose.

So, why not start doing this today if you have not done so already. Here is a list of a few blog directories that you may want to list your blog(s) in courtesy of one of the forums I frequent.

Popdex http://www.popdex.com/

Pheedo Exchange http://www.pheedo.com/

Blogrolling http://www.blogrolling.com/

Glob of Blogs http://globeofblogs.com/

Blogarama http://www.blogarama.com/

Blogshares http://blogshares.com/

Blogkits http://www.blogkits.com/

BlogWize http://www.blogwise.com/

Bloggeries http://bloggeries.com/

Blogpulse http://www.blogpulse.com/

Technorati http://www.technorati.com/

This list is soooo not exhaustive, but that's a start. If you are looking for a longer list, I have a link to one in this blog somewhere, lol. I'll have to dig around and find it for you.

So, what do you think of listing your blog at these places. Do you think it is too time consuming? Do you think the results underweigh the effort? Or have you found it to be a successful part of your marketing strategy?

I can't wait to hear your answers!
