Sell Anything Online

Anyone who has made use of the internet to sell stuff knows that you can sell anything online. I even came across a site that focuses on selling small business franchises. When I first came upon the idea of selling online, one of the things I remember hearing about in a seminar is that some famous person sold their gall bladder or some other body part on e-Bay. People even go so far as to have people bid on which name they should choose for their child. Come on people. It's true. This is the age we live in. So, are you going to get on the bandwagon already? Don't hesitate. You're in for a ride you'll never forget.

Return Policy Acknowledged on Checkout Page

Whether you sell generic Phentermine online or toys, one thing is certain, you must get the pulse of your shoppers to increase your sales. Sometimes though, we can get into a rut and just keep things as they are, because we're afraid if we change something, sales will slow down or business will bust.

That happened to me when I was urged to add an "I Read the Return Policy" check box on my checkout page. I had the return policy page referenced and linked in all of the appropriate places except for this all important "acknowledgment" page. I was certain sales would drop well below zero (I know that's not possible).

The truth of the matter is that it was costing me when customers admitted they had not read the return policy, but still wished to return a non-returnable item. Not having the check box on the checkout page was my downfall. Why? Credit card companies who receive complaints for their customers or charge backs only acknowledge and honor your return policy on shaky ground unless your customer actually acknowledged reading it on the checkout page.

Now, there may be a whole lot more to this, but that's the basic gist of my experience. So, I did finally break down and put that all important check box where it should be and low and behold, my customers kept coming and now I was protected. I am protected. Do the customers really read the policies? I don't know. I believe some do and some don't. My main concern is that I have done all I had to do, and more, to protect myself when crunch time comes. You should to!

I Love My Laptop!

I came across my first laptop computer through an old boss. I was a little intimidated by the little flat board that you use to control the cursor. I saw this little ball in the middle of the keyboard and felt it might be a little annoying to use that as the mouse. I also felt the keyboard was a little to small. Well, now that I've had my own for a while and have even bought a second one since, I can tell you that I absolutely love my laptop. If you have an online business, believe me, this is one of the first things you should invest in. It will make your life easier, which is definitely the objective, right?

Online Success - Stop Thinking and Start Doing!

Have you read any good books on online success lately? I've read a few, but I have to tell you. There is nothing like hands on training. What you have to do is stop gathering in all that wonderful information and get moving. You need to go ahead and figure out what you want to do with all of that online success information. Decide.

After you've decided, an even better thing to do would be to act on your decision. I am glad I did. When you stop thinking and start doing, this is the stepping stone to success. I hope you make it. I'm living proof that it works.

Saving Money by Transferring Credit Card Balances

One of the greatest things you can do for yourself if you have credit card debt and a decent credit rating is to get a 0 balance transfer card, that's right, a 0% balance transfer card. I know this can save you money since the point of this type of credit card is to help you avoid the interest you would be paying on higher interest rate cards in your wallet.

However, there are a few things you must consider before transferring your balances. Make sure you will not be charged for the transfer. Find out how many times you can make transfers and how much you will be allowed to transfer. Find out the terms of the transfer. Will you be allowed to pay it off in a year, 6 months. Find out what will happen after the special 0% rate runs out. How much will it cost you to have your money with that credit card company?

The best thing about this is that you can do all of your due diligence, your research, online. Just use your magical search box on your favorite search engine. Happy hunting and saving!

Selling Vacation Packages Question

Have you ever thought of selling flight deals online? I have and have also wondered how you start. My husband works for a cruise agency and so I know a little bit about how to get into the business, but where do you get the packages and the pricing from? Do you pay to be a part of the industry? To be a cruise agent, I've seen that it is necessary to pay an upfront fee for training and establishing your business. This can go anywhere from hundreds to thousands of dollars.

I'm not interested in that. However, I do know that travel is a lucrative business. Is this an already saturated market? I wonder. If you know, please leave a comment below with how you became an online travel agent. I'd love to hear from you even if you don't have an online business, but work for a travel agency. If you are in the know, then talk to me.
